Job Description

Southampton Union Free School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of E-Sports Advisor for the 2026-2027 school year.

The E-Sports Advisor will oversee the District's E-Sports program by providing leadership, mentorship, and supervision to participating students. The successful candidate will foster teamwork, sportsmanship, responsible digital citizenship, and strategic thinking while coordinating practices, competitions, and related program activities.

Position Details

• Appointment Type: Annual Appointment
• Location: Southampton High School
• Salary: In accordance with the Southampton Teachers Association (STA) Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise E-Sports practices, competitions, and team meetings.
• Promote teamwork, inclusion, sportsmanship, and responsible online behavior.
• Support students in developing game knowledge, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Coordinate competition schedules and communicate with students, families, and the Athletic Department.
• Ensure compliance with District policies and league rules.
• Maintain equipment and report any technology or equipment needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of E-Sports and competitive gaming.
• Experience working with students in an educational or extracurricular setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful team environment.
• Current Southampton UFSD Employees preferred
