Job Description

Southampton Union Free School District is seeking qualified internal applicants for the position of Assistant Coach – Varsity/JV Wrestling for the school year.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with practices, competitions, and team activities.
• Provide instruction in the fundamentals, skills, and strategies of wrestling.
• Support the development of student-athletes while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety.
• Assist with supervision of student-athletes during practices, competitions, and other team activities.
• Perform other coaching-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in the sport.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• DASA training.
• School Violence Prevention training.
• Child Abuse Identification and Reporting certification.
• Must meet all applicable NYSED and District coaching requirements.
