Job Description

Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a Permanent Substitute Teacher Assistant for the school year.

Position Details

Appointment Type: Annual Appointment
Position: Per Diem
Schedule: 7:20 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Term: September 8, 2026 – June 25, 2027
Salary: $175 per day

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cooperating teachers.
• Follow and implement student accommodations.
• Follow and support student behavioral or building plans.
• Be willing to cover varying assignments and settings based on building needs.
• Provide support to students and staff as assigned.

Compensation Note: Contractual or Board-approved rates supersede any rates listed in this posting.
