Job Description

Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a qualified Home Tutor to provide instruction to a Grade 4 student on intermittent medical leave during the 2026-2027 school year.

The Home Tutor will provide home instruction to a Grade 4 student during absences related to intermittent medical leave.

Responsibilities

• Provide up to 2 hours of instruction per school day missed, not to exceed 10 hours per week.
• Coordinate scheduling of instructional sessions with building administration and the student's parents.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling due to the intermittent nature of the student's absences.
• Provide appropriate elementary-level instruction during periods of absence.

Requirements

• Valid New York State Elementary Teacher Certification.
