Job Description

Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a qualified Home Instruction Tutor to provide instructional support to a student from Southampton Intermediate School during the school year.

Position Details

Department: Special Education
Positions Available: 1

Hours: 10 hours per week 

Responsibilities

• Provide home instruction to the assigned student in accordance with the student's educational program and needs.
• Prepare and deliver appropriate instructional activities and assignments.
• Collaborate with school staff regarding curriculum, assignments, and student progress.
• Maintain required records and documentation related to home instruction.

Qualifications

• NYS Teacher Certification
• Ability to provide individualized instruction based on student needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
