Salary:

  • Days 1 – 50 worked in the 2026-2027 school year $160.00 per day
  • Days 51 and beyond worked in the 2026-2027 school year $175.00 per day
  • Retired Southampton uncertified staff $175.00 per day

Permanent Substitute - Teaching Assistant081326-02

Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a Permanent Substitute Teacher Assistant for the school year.

Position Details

Appointment Type: Annual Appointment
Position: Per Diem
Schedule: 7:20 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Term: September 8, 2026 – June 25, 2027
Salary: $175 per day

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cooperating teachers.
  • Follow and implement student accommodations.
  • Follow and support student behavioral or building plans.
  • Be willing to cover varying assignments and settings based on building needs.
  • Provide support to students and staff as assigned.

Compensation Note: Contractual or Board-approved rates supersede any rates listed in this posting.

$175.00 per day
